User Research Program
By involving you in our research and decision making process, we gain valuable information that helps us make sure we're making the right design decisions.
At SOLIDWORKS, we constantly focus on the design of our products. With every release, we consider hundreds – if not thousands – of decisions that affect your experience. The User Research program helps us design products that fit your needs, and gives you the opportunity to help shape product concepts early on.
What We Do
We involve all levels of users, from novice to expert, in our user research activities. You can participate in a variety of ways, including:
- Online surveys to collect opinions and ideas
- One-on-one phone interviews to dive into particular topics
- Hands-on evaluation sessions conducted remotely via the web
- Visits to customer workplaces
We conduct research and gather feedback all year round, and you can participate as little or as much as you want.
