The JETCAM SOLIDWORKS interface is a free plugin for JETCAM Expert, which automates the process of unfolding and importing SOLIDWORKS geometry. Users can view thumbnail images of unfolded components and import them with a single click. This process can be further automated using Single Component Automatic Processing (SCAP), which allows JETCAM to "listen" for files added into a predetermined folder. Upon arrival, parts are immediately unfolded, imported, optimized, tooled (for whichever technology is being used to cut the part), nested, and NC code outputted-all without user intervention. JETCAM Expert provides a comprehensive solution for virtually every punching and profiling tool available today.
