Gerotor Design Studio

Gerotor Design Studio V2.1 is a unique, fully-featured CAD/ CAM solution that performs the difficult tasks of designing, analyzing, and manufacturing gerotor pumping elements. These pumping elements are used in many types of fluid transfer and hydraulic power applications across the world as they offer significant benefits over traditional 'spur gear' type pumps (package size, smoother fluid delivery, more efficient, and less noise). Although the gerotor element has been around for a long time and its benefits are well documented, it has not been an easy shape to produce for the small manufacturer. Hence anyone involved with pump design wishing to use a gerotor set has had to use an off-the-shelf item from one of the major gerotor manufacturers. While this is an acceptable method of obtaining gerotors, you generally have to design the pump around what is available. By being able to design your own gerotor sets (and being able to manufacture them), you have complete control over your pump design and manufacture processes. Gerotor Design Studio V2.1 enables users to design the porting for the pump housing, analyze the performance of the pump (greatly reducing the number of design-make-test iterations), and to produce CAD models for multiple 3D modelling packages. In addition, users can select the language used throughout the application-English or German. The application supports metric and imperial (inch) units.
