As designers and engineers, our work is varied. Daka and its sub-contractor � MAS Design Products Ltd. � wanted a CAD system that combines ease of use with power, so that even though we are not full-time CAD operators, we can quickly tackle complex geometry problems, find solutions, and use the system to drive design data from concept design through to the marketing, manufacturing, and documentation processes.

Aug 20, 2008	Bulletin: Submitting SolidWorks PhotoView 360 Beta issues Login to the SolidWorks Customer Portal. Select the Link "Report SolidWorks 2009 Pr-1 issues. Then select the "My SR's (Service Request)" link on the left hand side of the web page under the Beta Programs listing. Then select the "New" button. Under the Product: listing pull down select "SolidWorks 2009 Beta". Then under the Area pull down select "Add-ins Beta" and for the Subarea pull down select PhotoView 360 Beta. Generate a summary and a detailed description of the issue and then hit the "Submit" button.

The company needed a 3D CAD system to complete the design and overcome the difficult challenges associated with compressing the engine and gear train into a confined space between the forks of a bicycle and producing design visuals for use in securing funding from investors.

To achieve these goals, the design team needed parametric 3D CAD software.

In one particular instance, a client asked, "What software do you need to produce high-impact realistic 3D product animation?" The very next day, a SolidWorks reseller called to arrange delivery of a SolidWorks package, compliments of the client. SolidWorks CAD software provides me with extraordinary solid modeling power.

After six months, OTI engineers became dissatisfied with Inventor software and decided to evaluate other 3D CAD systems.

This requirement demanded an accurate 3D model for visualizing everything from walkways to valve access to basic interferences.
