JOB TITLE: Certification Specialist
LOCATION: Concord, MA
DESCRIPTION:
As the Certification Specialist, you will manage and maintain certification products as part of the Certification Program. You will become an active member in the global delivery of examinations for instructor and advanced support technician levels within the following products: SolidWorks (solid modeling), COSMOSWorks (analysis and design validation) and PDMWorks (data management). The successful candidate will learn the entire product line; work closely with subject matter experts; and develop into one of the company’s top technical managers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working with exam content owners on a quarterly basis to keep exams current
- Working with SolidWorks Technical Managers to maintain a level of excellence in reseller Application Engineer (AE) certification achievements and participation
- Managing the Elite AE program—an award program for AEs who achieve a minimum of seven certifications)
- Developing additional certification content for specialist examinations including, but not limited to: 3Dvia Composer, SolidWorks API programming, and future products.
- Monitoring and enforcing requirements for bi-annual global recertification
- Delivering certification related presentations to reseller AEs for both SolidWorks World events and locally run events
- Working with our online testing technology providers to understand the challenges of delivering exam content in a global market
- Supporting reseller AE inquiries related to the testing process and grading challenges.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5 years SolidWorks or related CAD, 5 years industry
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; engineering preferred.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive knowledge and experience with CAD applications and data management.
- Must provide sample(s) of CAD modeling project
- Well developed presentation skills
- Some travel is required.
- CSWA and CSWP certification a plus.
- Experience with multi-media and/or web-based technologies a plus.
- Experience with photo-realistic rendering a plus.
- Experience with image editing and enhancing software a plus.
